Many of you know that the Affordable Healthcare for America Act, otherwise known as HR Bill 3962, recently passed in the House with a slim two vote margin. Here are some things you may not know.  Do you remember when you were told by Mr. Obama, Nancy Pelosi and all the rest of the Democrats that you would be able to keep your current health care coverage if you liked it?  Well let me read you what’s in section 202 pages 91-92 of the Bill which requires you to enroll in a qualified plan:  If you get your insurance at work, your employer will have a grace period to switch to a qualified plan. The qualified plan means the plan designed by the Secretary Of Health and Human Services, the former Governor of KS who we all know and love, the honorable Kathleen Sebelius.  Those are the folks that will make the decisions about what kind of health insurance plan you will have.  You’ll have to enroll in a qualified plan as soon as you change any term in your contract, whether it’s a co-pay, a deductible or any benefit.  So in reality, you might be able to keep your health insurance for five minutes or five months but you’re certainly not going to be able to keep it indefinitely and you’re not going to be able to make those choices because the Federal Government is going to make them for you.  That’s whats in America’s new Affordable Healthcare Act.
